Chelation therapy

I am 75 years old. 15 years ago I had a quadruple bypass surgery, four years ago I had two stints placed – one in the iliac artery, and one in one of the heart vessels (on two separate occasions). Yesterday my cardiologist concluded based on the catheterization results, that I have another small artery blocked, which nothing could be done about – neither angioplasty, stint, nor even a surgery. So, I’m doomed to live with angina or wait for a heart attack.
On the other hand, while I do not have anything to loose, I am willing to try the chelation therapy, a treatment with EDTA.
I find on this forum some information about this therapy, but it quite old going back to 1999. At that time it looks like some tests were in progress, but I could not find any results.
Has anybody heard something about such tests? What are the results? Does anybody know some place around Cleveland, Ohio performing such therapy? Thank you.

I have read about chelation therapy. I have not come accross recent report on chelation therapy.
Recently I have come accross some report on EECP( enhanced external counter pulsation therapy. which is being used when bipass or angioplasty is not feasible. You will find info in the related web site. used the word EECP or the expanded form as above.
