Chest pain

When I walk up any incline or slope, I very quickly get a burning stitch type pain in my chest. does not happen on level ground, and soon goes away if I stop walking.

Heh-heh, I get that kind of pain, even recorded a couple of arrhythmia/chest pain events on a monitor and my new cardio said he "didn't think it was cardiac related."  LOL Whatever.

Barry - you should have it checked out. People don't usually get pain when they walk up a hill. Maybe it's muscle or lung related but it would be nice to know what's happening.

The symptoms you are experiencing are strong indicators of some cardiac problem, such as a blockage or valve leakage, and is called angina.  I would contact your doctor and report this condition in the near future.
