My father recently had a heart attack and was told that the artery that caused the heart attack had been stented but he had other blackages. He was discharged, given new medication, and advised to get a cardiologist and have heir she take care f the other bloackages. Now that we’re home I went through his paper work and saw that he has a 99% blockage of his distal LAD. Is this something he could have been sent home with? Also my dad is diabetic and they mentioned something about stents not lasting in diabetic patients
