I have heart attacks symptoms and my doctor says im okay.

I have chest pain, arm pain, upper left abdomen pain, shortness of breath .I went for a regular check up. And my blood pressure readings are 136/94. After that, the doctors tells me to take an X-ray, do a blood test, an ecg test, and a urine test. The doctors says that im perfectly fine. He also said that my heart are okay according to my ecg result. And he also said that all the pain im having is because of muscle pain. But still im having heart attack symptoms. Please give some advice of what is going on with me. It almost been a month.

Maybe I may be able to clear this up for you; why your doctor is telling you that you are not having a heart attack.

1) You would never be able to "go for a REGULAR check-up; you would be in the emergency room, probably transported by ambulance.

2) When a person is having a heart attack, the EKG takes on a whole different look and continues to have those changes over a course of several hours to days.

3) The bloodwork would have had elevations in the cardiac enzymes as well as the muscle enzymes. When a person is having a heart attack, damaged muscle cells releases certain enzymes into the bloodstream.

4) If you are having a heart attack, this would not be going on for a month's period of time; heart attacks are acute, not chronic. A month in time is chronic.

5) If you were having a heart attack, exercise would NOT be tolerated due to the lack of oxygen to the heart muscle. The pain would have stopped you in your tracts; the pain would have changed.

You are probably suffering from anxiety attacks, especially if you are getting these attacks at night. Get some help for the anxiety and try and relax. Thinking you are having a heart attack , due to anxiety, will only make things much worse for you. take care

It is evidence in favour of your heart being ok. Normally exercise makes heart pain get worse. If the pain is there all the time and youre still alive its hopefully something other than your heart.

Ask you doctor to explain what is causing you pain and why.

Your symptoms could be anxiety related, but then it would be quite normal to be anxious with the symptoms you are suffering from.

Does the pain or symptoms get worse or change with exercise? If they don't get worse its more evidence against it being your heart. I think you should ask for a better explanation from your doctor, regardless of the cause you need to know how to get better.

Good luck

Could all your symptoms be anxiety related? If not, go for a second opinion. Best of luck.
