Question: Could Eplerenone (EPTUS 25) effect substantial increase in EF?

The medication you are referring to treats high blood pressure. If an individual's heart is pumping against high resistence as measured by systemic blood pressure, the heart can pathologically enlarge from over work, and an enlarged heart can reduce the EF.

If the med controls blood pressure, the heart could return to normal size and under that condition the EF can be increased.

>>>It is likely the two conditions are unrelated.  Pulmonary hypertension indicates there is a high resistance for the right side of the heart to pump against causing the pumping of blood to the lungs to be impaired...there is nothing in your post that states a right ventrical insufficiency...so that condition might not be a serious issue.

It is difficult to evaluate and put a time certain to any medical problem.  I had an enlarged heart and 13-29% EF several years ago...currently, my heart is normal size and the EF is within the normal range.  Depending on the underlying cause, your EF may improve with medication.
