Does anyone else get these type of pains in there chest?

I'm 18 yrs old female and I keep having these chest pains in the center of my chest and they are very uncomfortable and they are hard to explain it feels sometimes like someone is standing on my chest and I can't breath for like 30 seconds while these chest pains are happening sometimes they last longer and I get this pain in my collar bone on the right side and its like this weird sizzling that I can feel in the same spot that it hurts at most of the time and its starting to annoy me more than anything which I don't know why its there to begin with no one can give me a answer they have no clue at all but you can definitely feel it and it is definitely there. I'm seeing a cardiologist and everything but he is saying that I don't have anything wrong with me other than tachycardia but I think I might have something else wrong with me. I've had all kinds of tests done. An ECKO it showed nothing wrong with my heart. I've had 24 Halter monitors on they also showed nothing but I don't know why they didn't show anything because I was having chest pains when I wen't jogging and right before I went to sleep and I had chest pains in the morning to. I've had EKG's and it showed not a normal EKG but a very fast rythm and I faxed it over to my cardiologist and he looked at it and he said that it was not normal but it wasn't anything dangerous or life threatning. I'm always waking up with tachycardia in the middle of the night and in the morning I can feel my heart beating really fast and usually after I use the restroom and I can't ever count my heart beat whens going really fast. He told me that he could put me back on the atenol but he said that I don't need it I still had the chest pains on the atenol but they weren't as often as they are now.

one idea I have is have you both ever or do you suffer from G.E.R.D or Gastroesophageal reflux disease that Could be one area for you both to check out.
Pain in that area can be caused by this problem.Obviously it would be good to find the cause of your rapid heart beats but for know obviously beta blockers for both of you and change them if they are indeed not working.
but for both of you,you need to start taking your own BP and resting pulses everyday and keep a note of this(same times every day)so that a true graph can be made from the data to see or to note any possible anomalies.*only trust good machines, like OMRON etc. as I bought a cheap one and it was"way off!".Now I bought an OMRON the same as the Docs use here in UK.
cheers. john.

Hi there, Iam a male 31 years old and I have the same symptons as you even when I go to the bathroom, I have been takeing atenenol 50 mg and recently it stoped working on me. I also just had a cardiac cath done and they didnt find anything. I also have alot of chest pain in the center of my chest like you, and I also have had all the cardiac test done also. So I think its time we both get a second opinion. Hope all is well and let me know you out come.
