Dont know what to do right now .

Ok Where do I start . . . .

I have been having chest pain for about four months now. I have been to the ER once and doctors since that. I have had A CT Scan, EKG, Stress test, and Chest Xray all done on me and came back totally fine. I dont know what to do anymore cause im still having the pain and im really worried cause its always on the left upper side and will radiate into the left side of my neck as well. Im only 19 I should probably throw out there with no history of heart problems in our family. I dont wanna let it sit in case its something serious and i dont know what i should do next. The pain comes and goes through out the day. Think Id be wasting my time with an echo? When i went to the cardioligist he said he didnt think it was necesesary to do one so i didnt.

Appreciate the help.

Thanks.

Has the lymph node been swollen the whole time and what did the doc say about it? If it's something new you should mention it to the doc, get some blood work done to look for possible infection some place.

Good to hear your doing well :P

So thats what you were diagnosed with . . . .

I forgot to add up top the first time that the thing that worries me most is through out the day I always get a feeling of nausea and doom feeling. It also seems to be trigured by when i get stressed to but as well when im not stressed . Different things basically trigure it. When you look up symptoms like that it fits heart attack so good it seems like, but i have gotten all those test so im just stuck in a hole it feels like :( .

Thanks for the support and responses once again.

Hi
I have been through something similar to you in the past 6 months. My chest pain comes from the middle of my chest radiates across the left side right down my arm and into my neck. I was diagnosed with costochondritis. I know how painful and scary this can be i suffered badly with it luckily its gone now though. You are probably suffering with something similar you have had plenty of test and are only 19 yr old (i am only 21) Good luck!

Have you considered going to a chiropractor? They can do wonders if you find a good one. You may have something out of place. They can do xrays and all sorts of things to find out what is wrong. And if it isn't something they can fix they will tell you what they think is the problem. You have to find one that does full body adjustments cause if they only do one spot it won't help, because everything is connected. I have gone to chiro's for over 30 years and if they are good they can do wonders.

Thanks you all for the help I greatly appreciate it. Your right about the muscle subjct I would sometimes think it was that but your right it can get scary and change your thinking 100 % about it and make you second guess or consider all these different things.

Thanks again though :P

If it isn't your heart, I would pursue possible muscle/bone causes.  I can get some chest pain and pressure while working out but it is movement-related.

hi,

I experienced the exact same thing a few years ago. If the pain comes & goes + radiates to other places (ie. shoulders, neck) & all your tests have been normal, it is probably muscular in origin.... or what they would call "myofascial pain". haven't any of these specialists mentioned this?

muscular pain can be very deceiving & mimics many other physical conditions.  It can be very painful & extremely scary.  Did they speak to you about costochondritis at all?  This type of chest-wall pain can be dull, achy, sharp, stabbing... & it does come & go.

Check out the site below for more info.  Its possible that all you need is some heat & a good massage therapist.  Hope this helps you... I have been there.... I know its scary but if your tests are all good its probably this! Good luck :)
