Hi everyone, does anyone know is there is any relationship between heart disease and a dry mouth? I have this dry mouth and its been with me something around 6 months now. The dry mouth makes it very painful to swallow food and to talk. I do get angina pain on and off, the angina pain and the dry mouth makes me think somthing is wrong with my heart..If anyone knows anything that can help please let me know...

I haven't heard of a connection between dry mouth and angina but I certainly don't know everything.  :-)

Since you're having chest pain, it would be good to have your doctor check it out and find ways to manage that. Chest pain usually indicates a problem that shouldn't be ignored. Also ask about the dry mouth. Maybe there's a thyroid problem. In any case, there are things available to help that as well.
