LA enlargement may a false positive with an EKG, and an echocardiogram would be more appropriate. Usually, when there is an enlargement of the LA there may be a problem with the mitral valve such as valve opening is narrow and the LA enlarges to provide more pressure to pump blood into the lower chamber. An echo would assess the the heart valves and estimate chamber sizes.
A right ventricular conduction delay indicates there may have been or there is some blockage to the electrical impulse that impedes the conduction of the impulses that contract both lower chambers at the same time. A delay may not have any medical significance if there are no symptoms.
