Elevated lp-pla2, should I worry?

A few months ago, I saw my cardiologist, he cleared me and said I was healthy and so was my heart. About a week ago, had some bloodwork done by my new primary care provider, who I don't see back until the 6th. I got my results though, and it showed high bad cholesterol, low good cholesterol, elevated insulin, and a few other flagged heart related things including an elevated lp-pla2 level of 328, optimal is less than 200. I researched and found that the lp-pla2 levels usually don't elevate unless there is plaque near rupture in your arteries. So now I'm very concerned, afraid I could have a heart attack or stroke any day now,  and confused that my cardiologist said I was fine,  but this blood work contradicts that. Seriously, should I be worried? I'm only 27. I've had high blood pressure and tachycardia problems for a while now. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi there. What are the views of your current doctor? If your worried, move the appointment forward. After all he is the expert and has all your medical history. What are the BP numbers like? How is your general health? What triggers the tachy? Are you on any meds for the above?
The cardio cleared you, but what tests did you have? Generally doctors deal with the man on the ground. In other words whoever has the latest results are what they generally go by. Obviously your concerned, all will most likely be fine, but maybe change the appt if it helps allay your fears

I just switched to a new primary care provider,  my current cardiologist however, kind of gives off the vibe of not really caring, all the visits with him have been over within minutes. Blood pressure is up and down, I take propranolol for high blood pressure, but there are days when it is pretty low as well, especially lately. In the past few days highest has been 152/90 and lowest has been 95/51. My general health is iffy,  I constantly feel tired and fatigued, constant headaches and such, anxiety and panic are through the roof. The cardiologist ran an echo, a treadmill test, and an abdominal ultrasound and a 30 day heart monitor. Which all showed normal, but then my new primary ran this blood work which is quite the opposite of normal. I'm just concerned about the lp-pla2 numbers,  and some of the other red flagged results that were all heart related.
