Endocarditis!??

Im a 24 yr old female in good health. I have frequent palpitations and do see a Cardiologist for this. Ive had 2 echos that was normal other than some trivial regurgitation. I was born with a heart murmur that the doctor told my parents would go away and was nothing to worry about. I had 4 wisdom teeth removed on the 15th of this month. A couple days ago I developed a high fever that lasted only about 24 hrs. I have also had some coughing/sneezing, leg aches, neck soreness. I noticed yesterday i had a couple of red pinpoint dots on the top of my right foot and left leg, today it appears they are alot lighter than yesterday. My fever has since came down and I feel better other than coughing and some aches in my knees and feet. I know Im probably not in the high risk category but Im very scared of developing endocarditis. Does it sound like this could be something I should worry about? Would my fever had subsided if it was endocarditis? How long after my dental procedure do I have to worry about developing this!?

You should definitely tell your cardiologist!  Im 24 as well with heart problems. You should have an EKG & maybe do a 24 hour holter monitor testing.  Hope this helps :) good luck!
