Getting a pacemaker tomorrow

Hi guys, I haven't been on here in a while because last year around christmas I had my 2nd ablationa and started feeling better. That is until around october, then the palpitations and svt was back..again.. Went in last week and had another EP and ablation.. now I am having a pacer put in tomorrow morning. My heart wants to go slow now and I am tired and dizzy. I am so sick of this quality of life.

Can anyone out there who has a pacer tell me how they feel now and do they ever actually feel the pacer working?? Any info would be great

Though I have been advised Pacemaker implantation about six months back, I have not yet finalized a decision on the option of getting it fitted.Though the Holter evaluation expressed significant slow heartbeats, the situation has now changed quite a bit.The present HR is around 68bpm constant, no feeling of dizziness. Can I go back on my medical examiner's report for a PPI?

You will love your pacer.  My pacer allowed my heart to reduce in size, I'm no longer considered in the CHF catagory.  Once you are cleared for exercise, I'd get busy.

Once you have the pacer, it will be programmed by the manufacturer in the hospital, and then checked by your doctor.  I had to have mine fiddled with, but what a positive difference in my life it made.  Keep us informed.
