Irene, I only know that this may be a sign of poor circulation.... Maybe no pain now because your circulation is still adequate, so no gangrene (grain of salt here please :) ). Here is the problem though; you may be damaging peripheral nerves now and may not be aware of it until more damage is done in the future, whereby you could develop PN or peripheral neuropathy. Have it checked out. If I come across anything, I will post it...

I am familiar with Raynaud's which causes similar symptoms. Last time I went to see my doc (Oct 2005) I mentioned it to her. She even saw my feet looking all gray as I sat on the exam table. All she said was keep them warm, elevate them as much as possible. That's not easy to do when you're busy. Shortly after that my fingers started acting up. Yesterday was such a fluke.Today my hands are looking more normal, just a tiny gray here and there. I see my doc this Oct. again. I'll bring it up to her then. Thanks for the thoughts and let me know if you find any interesting information. Don't worry about the gangrene talk. I tend to live in my state of denial. I don't worry until the doctor tells me to worry. LOL
