Heart problem or anxitey?

Hello..i am a 17 year old male with no family history of any heart condition what so ever....recently i have been having chest pains on the left side of my chest they come and go....now once in a blue moon i want to go to sleep and turns out i cant when i breath it feels like there is pressure on my chest...this is pretty much the third time this has ocurred i was trying to sleep..i wasnt able to i had no chest pains but when i  inhale air it feels like pressure on my chest and i also feel my heart beating (palpitation) and i begin to feel hot and somewhat begin to sweat and this is all recent as of 10 minutes ago ..could this be anxitey? i was admitted to the hospitol on dec 9th 2007 for chest pains they did a cat scan of my lungs and chest and found nothing and a ultra sound of my heart and found nothing as well except for a leaky heart valve,,,i don't know which valve or how leaky it is..i was put on a heart monitor for 24hrs and it came back normal ...so i have a feeling that this is anxitey but at the same time i beleive its a heart problem i also have a family history of high cholesterol and i to have somehwat of high cholesterol...its at the borderline doctors say.

Hi,

I dont know much about all of this but your symptoms sound similar to my boyfriends, he is 21 and 2 years ago started having chest pains which got worse when he lied down or tried to sleep, he went to hosp and they found nothing, did ecg's and said they were normal, then last year he had a heart attack, he's ok now thank god but he had to have a stent fitted in his artery and is on medication now for life. If they had picked up the problem the first time he would not have had the heart attack

I dont mean to scare you but I think the best thing is to get checked out and get a 2nd opinion just to be on the safe side, its probably nothing!
