If you can feel a lump under the skin which is growing in size, then a cardiologist really needs to see it and monitor it. It's basically a collection of blood under the skin and can be a sign of internal bleeding. If you have no bruising and there is no lump, then I think the hematoma has probably dispersed. Another reason for leg pain can be through pressure on the femoral nerve or damage to it. If they used an angioseal after the procedure this can put pressure on it. The angioseal will fully dissolve within three months but pressure on the femoral nerve should lessen after around 1.5-2 months. If there is damage to the nerve, it can take a bit longer to recover fully. If you still have bruising, draw a pen mark around the edge to give an easy indication if the bruising is still expanding.
