Base to apex (frontal area) is the location of mild movement impairment of heart muscle.  This is often due to lack of blood (ischemia) to the area in question and the heart cells are stunned.  Opening a good blood supply to the deifict area can restore functionality of the heart cells, or the condition may be medically insignificant.
