When can I resume normal activities, including sex, after CABG?

I am a relatively healthy 61 year old male. I had quadruple CABG four weeks ago. Other than an episode of A-Fib 12 days post op that resolved on iv meds just before being shocked, my recovery has been good. I start cardiac rehab next week.  I have been very active, walking 1/4 - 1/2 mile daily, cooking, light gardening, light play with my dogs, etc.  I am ready, at least in my mind, to do more - including sex (even mutual masturbation would be welcome). I don’t have another dr appointment for 3 weeks.

Do I wait another 3weeks to ask the dr about sex?  Or, do I take it easy and see how it goes?
