Heart or Spine?

For several yrs. I have been experencing a sudden attack of squeezing sensation around my upper body. Under my armpits, chest and upper back. With numbness in both arms.It takes my breath away and only last about 20-30 seconds. I would say it happens approx. 4 times a month. I have had cervical spine surgery in the past and I sometimes think that it is an upper spinal problem but in the back of my mind I am thinking my heart...Before I spend all kinds of money on expensive test for either one, I am curious what anyone online might be thinking about this.

Based on your symptoms one cannot rule out a heart problem without a test and evaluation.  A heart and spine disorder could be or not be mutually exclusive concomitant medical disorders.  You may want to consult with a medical professional if for no other reason than peace of mind.

Take care,

Ken

Been that fast and symmetrical I think it should be spine.

Have you tried high dose of Vitamin B1, that will reinforce your nerve system.
