Is it safe to have other operations if have heart disease?

Hi
I know this is something that a dr decides, my aunt has had a stent in an artery due to her heart issues, few years ago, shes started having angina pains again after many years, it seems she will require Another operation for her heart. thats causing concern.

shes also having issues with her gallbladder and needs it removed. Due to inflammation and infections. question is would it be safer for her to remove the gallbladder first? As drs wont do it due to her heart issues that require to unblock her artery(in.a few mnths, i do understand the gallbladder removal is a pretty straightforward operation, and if has further infections it would be required to be removed first. Just concerned for my aunt, would be great if somone can give me some advise.

Thanks
Mike

There are different types of angina. The unstable angina requires immediate attention, while the stable angina can be treated with medications.
So, if your aunt has unstable angina, she needs to have looked at that on short notice.
If she has stable angina there is perhaps not so much urgency, but she needs to have it treated anyway if she wants the gallbladder operation

If it appears that theangina is from a new blockage, chances are they can put in another stent to solve the problem.

If that is the case, she will be up and running in no time and available for her gallbladder operation.
