I have just been diagnosed with VF and I am scared and depressed,the doctor told me my heart is in bad shape.It's been damaged.Help.
Thanks ed,I got back from the specialist and it's SVT she said not VF.When she explained the difference between the 2 I was relieved but still scared.I need to learn more about my condition now.The doctor at the ED said I had VF.
Hi, do you have any specifics? like how much damage? was the damage through a heart attack or infection? what is the EF of your heart?
VF is mostly caused by heart attacks but can also be due to narrowed arteries among other things. Have they recommended that you have an ICD unit installed? which will shock your heart if it goes into VF ?
