I'm having a chemical stress test myself in a couple of weeks, we shall compare notes, perhaps. I also, like almost everyone who walks the earth and has a heart beat, have PVC's and PACS. My area of worry are those pesky needles...
i to had that test because my blood pressure was so high they would not let me run on a treadmill and its because of anxiety. so they put it in my veins and my heart took off running wow it was fast i felt every beat, only thing is after it , it would not slow back down so they had to give me another shot to bring it back down. cant say i enjoyed it but they know what they are doing and everything was good for me no problems. you will do just fine you are with cardio folfs and they know what they are doing. let us know how it comes out. p.s i also have pacs/pvc and mine gave me no problems after the test
I am overweight and get very winded just walking short distances. I am working on this with a nutristionist but being said that I am afraid I will have a heart attack.. and my PVC'S sometimes come on strong when I do exert. I appreciate all the advice from all.. it has eased my mind a little.. just will be glad when its over.
I had a chemically induced nuclear stress test due to bad knees as well, don't worry about it. The drug will make you feel like you're running a marathon and the sensation stops immediately after they stop it in about 2 minutes. It was really nothing I would be opposed to doing again let alone be something I would worry about.
Let me know if I can answer anything about the test. Relax, it's feels no different than a little run.

You will be fine, and wonder why you spent so much energy worrying about what was such an easy test. I've had several of both exercise and drug-induced tests, and the drug-induced test is far easier. Try to concentrate on the fact that some definitive information will be learned.
Not as high as you think, I think mine had to be 135+. I have had a few of these tests, and each one has made me feel the same way. They slowly injected the drug and after about 10 seconds I was breathing a bit faster. That's all. I think after about 20 more seconds, breathing returns to normal.
