Mitral Valve Repair / Replacement

Has anyone had mitral valve repair or replacement?  Did you have the regular procedure or the minimally invasive?  How severe were your symptoms when you made the decision to go ahead?

How long was your recovery?  How are you doing now better or worse?

ive recently [8 weeks] had mitril and tricuspid valve repair, along with a modified cox maze precedure to get rid of atrill fribulation. i dont seen to feel any better and im having trouble breathing just walking. does any one have any idea what might be wrong? the dr dont seem to know thanks ***@****
