heart question please help

I got an eco-cardio-gram done and it said I have sinus tachycardia rhythm FREQUENT ATRIAL PREMATURE BEATS the doctor tells me not to worry about this because I have no blockages or calcium in my arteries. he then told me to work out, today I walked in the gym and rode the bike and all day after I was having a lot of discomfort in my chest and tonight for about 15 min it got really bad and my heart rate shot up very high. does anyone think this is a problem I should be worried about when I feel chest pain I start to freak out what should I do I would like to think he knows what he's talking about. oh and he gave me metropolol and lisinopril to take why give meds if its nothing to worry about. sorry I posted this some where else was not sure where it goes.

It can be heart related. If your heart isn't functioning to a satisfactory level, fluid can build up in the lungs. When you eat, the heart has to work even harder which is another sign.

Well, the CT will look for calcium lining your arteries but this is not a very good test in my opinion. Half my blockages wouldn't have been seen by a CT scan because blockages start off as non-calcium. Without going into the chemistry of how blockages form, they don't start as calcium, this is a later stage. To rule out your arteries I would have an angiogram (line in leg). This is a painless procedure and will tell a thousand stories about your heart in detail. An angiogram will see all blockages, including bridges or even spasms.

ive had a eco cardio gram, a stress test they wanted to do line in my legg and squirt die into my heart but I didn't do it I had hurt my back afterwards and had a ct done of my chest using that they were able to see that I didn't have any blocked arties that's how they said I had no blockages. but did show minor calcium on my leaflets which they say is normal and say my heart is weak and also my left ventricle is larger than normal.

they saw I had a low ejection fraction of 42 that is now 48,sinus tachycardia rhythm, and the frequent atrial premature beats. when using my heart rate monitor its always popping up that my heart is not beating correctly. they tell me to exercise.

I know have problems with breathing while walking in the cold air and after I eat I cough up lots of phlegm I did smoke for a few months due to stress and quit almost 6 weeks ago. I'm starting to wonder if this is causing my chest pain and making me cough up mucus after I eat with a runny nose, or if the iv I had is causing all these problems when the nurse used a 18 gauge needle in my arm I hade black and blue marks plus a little nerve damage in my wrist for a while but its better now I was thinking did that cause a possible blood clot in being in my vein near my bicep.

can I have some opinions I think I have answered your questions any feedback as to what might be wrong with me or should I fear my conditions.

PACS are generally harmless but in some cases they can be a sign of a more serious underlying problem of going into arrhythmia. Caffeine, alcohol, stress and poor sleep can trigger pacs as well as heart disease. I'm curious to know how you've established that you've no blockages in your arteries? If I was in your shoes I would go back to the Doctors and say you want a 24 hour holter monitor. This will record your heart beat over a 24 hour period, so you can wear it and go to the gym then have it all looked at the next day.

the first thing I did was ride the bike for 45 min on a random setting that gave me straight lines and hills.. then I hit the machines and worked out my back and chest and arms no more than 80 lbs.. looking back as I did the same thing today im thinking it was the cold air walking home that probably bothered my chest as I felt the same thing today and yesterday I drunk a lot of tea even though it said decaffeinated it still must have made my heart race..  what does anyone thing about sinus tachycardia rhythm FREQUENT ATRIAL PREMATURE BEATS.. I was wondering is this a bad thing that will kill me or something that will not physically after my life expectancy. i'm working out now 5ft 10. 350lbs looking to lose a lot of weight.

hi, just wondering about your exercise routine. How much resistance do you have on the bike to make your heart race so high? and, what do you call high? Maybe try removing all resistance on the bike and spending half an hour pedaling slowly. Do that for the first week.

Are you saying that you were already Metoprolol when you did your heavy exercise? If yes, I understand your problem. Metoprolol not only is supposed to take care of your PVC's, but it also prevents your heart rate to go up to where it usually went and the discomfort you felt could have come from that and you must have high blood pressure too because that's what the Lisinopril is for.
