valve problem worsening?

I have valve disease. My doctor said it wasn't too much to worry about. It affects 3 of my 4 valves I believe. He said to just come back in a few years for a new echo. For the past month or so I've been having some chest pain again. It usually occurs at night, my heart will begin racing for no particular reason. I will walk a short distance and it will be as if I ran 2 miles in record time. I consistently  don't feel good and now I've been getting head aches and light headedness. I'm worried something else might be developing or my valve disease may be getting worse. I currently do not have insurance so I can't go see whats wrong right now. I'm 19 year old female. Does anyone have advice or suggestions. I'm thin. I actually lost like 20 pounds and I skinny before, I didn't try to lose the weight it just happened. I'm active, I'm on my college track and field team. Thanks in advance for any advice.

It was about a year ago. I can't make an appointment yet, I currently don't have insurance.

How long ago was the last echo scan?  If you feel like there could be a problem, the best solution is definitely make an appointment with your cardiologist. At least you will get a kind of a trend of how much the valves are worsening, if at all.

I haven't ran in awhile, when I did run that would happen occasionally and it does take awhile usually, and sometimes it kind of does it for no reason, I will just be laying down or getting up out of bed.

When you run, does your heart burn and hurt? And does it take awhile for it to stop beating so hard?
