Occasional jaw, chest, and arm pains

A little over 4 months ago I drank an extra strength 5hr energy while a work.  That evening when I got home I felt my heart racing and I was so scared that I went to the ER.  They gave me an EKG the showed borderline My BP was up and so was my pulse.  It eventually lowered and I went home after about 2hrs.   I then scheduled an appointment with my primary doc and she said that I have pre-hypertension and should watch my diet.  I occasionally have the quick "pin-*****" pains on the left side of my chest.  She sent me to a cardiologist to have me checked out.  He gave me an echo and a EKG stress test.  The echo showed a mildly irregular heartbeat he said I shouldn't be concerned about.  The stress test was normal.  Since then, on a couple of occasions I have had sharp pains in my upper jaw, left triceps, elbow, right side of the chest.  Since I have been eating and exercising regularly I never seem to notice these pains when I am exerting myself, only when I'm watching television or sitting upright on the pc or whatever.  Is this heart related?  Should I demand more testing from my doc?  Advise please.  Thanx

Extra strength 5hr energy drink. I hope you realized after this experience that it is NOT good for you.
You are not the first and last person who is getting symptoms from energy drink as you did from them. Do a Google surge.  Exercise, sleep, healthy food & drink can give you more energy. These awful energy drinks while they keep you going like caffeine also harm you. And might harm you more than caffeine.

The type of pain you mention at rest is not consistent with cardiac pain. Also, cardiac pain is not normally classified as sharp, it is usually a crushing, squeezing or pressure type of pain. Having said that, any new chest pain needs to be mentioned to your doctor.

Please call your doctor and let them know what's going on.
