PAC

I am having pac;s. Several per minute for 11 hours now. ER says go see doctor in 48 hours if not better. Is it safe to have an irregular heart beat for so long? How long is safe?

Thank you for responding. The ER says they are PAC. It's not that I am having them that is causing stress, because I have had these for 20 yrs. It is that I am having several every minute, and they have not let up since I woke up yesterday morning. I have never had these so frequently and for so long before. I seriously hope this goes away soon.

I've had pacs since I was 13 years old, sometimes hundreds an hour, and I'm 72 years old.  I have some serious heart issues now, but they are unrelated to PACs.  Are you sure the irregular heart beats are PACs?   Almost everyone has them, so if that is what you have, I'd relax.
