PVC's after Cardiac Stents

In Sept. 2007 and early Oct. 2007 I had 5 cardiac stents put in.  I was put on Metoprolol 50mg per day.  About one month after the last procedure I have begun to expierence PVC's.  (I never had this before).  I have tried reducing my Metoprolol to to 25mg to 12 1/2 mg per day while adding Benicar 25 mg. I am also taking syntroid 50mg/day, Plavix 75mg and 1 full strength aspirin.  I continue to expierence these PVC's, somedays worse than others.  Is this a side effect of the medicated stent, or the metoprolol?  I took the other medicines before the stents with no side effects.  I am having a difficult time going to work and carrying out my daily routine.  I am 55 years old and otherwise in good health.  I am not overweight, I avoid alcholol an do not smoke.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Are they PVC's or Artery Spasms?

I had two stents placed in my LAD, and three more placed in the right coronary and circumflex a year later. After the last three stents, I started having so many PVCs it has almost ruined my life! I cannot relax or sleep because as soon as I get still the PVCs start and it feels like a sledgehammer inside my chest. I am convinced these are a result of the last three stents since I had none after the first two, but was on all the same meds as I am after the last three. (so I don't think it it med related) My cardiologist swears there is no correlation...but I say that is just because no one has studied it yet and published an article. He tried to put me on meds for the PVCs, but they make me feel drugged, dizzy, and my already low heart rate sinks to dangerously low levels (in the upper 30s/low 40s). I am looking into ablation, but am reading that it is not very effective for PVC.
