Hi there. Im not a doctor but will help as best I can. You don't give great detail regarding your overall health. What was the damage like from the MI ? How are your BP numbers? What about your EF % ? What is your weight like, also do you smoke? Or drink much alcohol.
Your current meds are Lipitor for cholesterol control, Coversyl (Often problematic with a rough sounding cough as a side effect) Minax which is a beta blocker Asprin and Eliquis most likely for anti clotting purposes. Amlodipine for BP or your heart condition. The above are a fairly standard level of treatment for Heart conditions. Its no joke and these are serious medications. So be careful, you need to fully brief your cardiologist first, on this to be sure its ok. Small irregular doses may be ok, but you need to be cautious given your previous medical history. As the saying goes, if in doubt check it out. Thats what you need to do. Hope this helps
