I'm having the exact same thing happen when I eat lots of carbs. I'm curious to read the following responses.
I have been having the same problem, but with pretty much everything I eat. I've heard that syndrome as a possibility as well, along w/diabetes, low/high blood pressure, thyroid issues, hypoglycemia, mitral valve prolapse, etc. Although I'm reading through the forums to find answers I think I'm just going to break down and go to the doc.
Have you ever taken your blood pressure or pulse after eating? My hr tends to be anywhere from 85-211 (usually somewhere in the 90s or low 100s though), but my bp is normal. I have no diabetes/blood sugar problems that I'm aware of. I'm ht/wt proportionate and have light activity but not an athlete. I too would like to read anyone else's responses.
Someone recommended I ask my Dr about whether I may have "POTS" - Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome. You might look into that as a possibility also if you haven't already. Hope that helps.
I'm a 26 year old female. I've never had surgery but have severe dumping syndrome. I also have MVP and pots. Let me know if you have had any progress or questions. I've been to a lot of Doctors...
