my (non-professional) view:
Your left ventricle pumps oxygen rich blood through your body. Thereby it has to overcome the resistance of your arteries and the resistance of your aortic valve. From your echo it is found that you have and additional resistance for the blood flow.
The LVOT obstruction is an additional resistive factor in series with the arterial impedance and the aortic valve, or finds it origin in a malfunctioning aortic valve.
This means that your left ventricle must work hard to overcome the increased resistance and by doing is it adapts to the extra workload and gets thickened (hypertropic).
Hypertrophy can also cause the obstruction so it is not easy to tell cause from effect.
I'll give it my best shot.
1. LVOT is left ventricle outflow tract. Left ventricle hypertrophy means the muscle is thickened.
2. The mitral valve has zero leaks, its working fine.
3. left ventricle is working harder than normal
4. The left ventricle isn't filling properly
5. a TRACE leak of a valve is fine, so no problems with tricuspid valve
6. Your pulmonary system (lungs etc) are fine
Just wondering what your symptoms are? have you have a recent heart attack?
