Peripartum Cardiomyopothy

Hey all i was diognised peripartum cardiomyopothy during my last pregnancy and i am looking for people who have had experience with the same thing or any one educated to give me some info i despratly want to have another baby in approx 2 years what are chances of reaccurance and morality?

Hello and sorry for the delay in replying.

Understand your predicament.
Nutritional deficiency, namely selenium deficiency and genetic factors have been implicated as the causative factors for peripartum cardiomyopathy. If you have persistent LV dysfunction, then future pregnancies are not advised. So, depending on your current cardiac status or reserve, future pregnancies can be planned. Please discuss this with your doctor am sure he will provide further assistance.
