Post bypass surgery and BP

Hello, my mother who is 52 yo had bypass surgery 7weeks ago, her blood pressure in the morning is mostly 140/70, and during the day it's from 110-128/60-70, heart rate is about 45-59... Can you please tell me is that blood pressure normal in the morning, after she wakes up. Today it was 151/70, right after she went to toilet, and after few minutes it was 130/70... i'm scared for her, so please help

Blood pressure is never static, meaning that it always changes throughout the day. Studies indicate that blood pressure rises in the morning after waking up. I read somewhere that blood pressure can change 10-30 points in minutes

It also has to be remembered she is still recovering from major surgery and pain/discomfort will affect blood pressure. My pain killers used to wear off through the night and I could feel my heart pounding due to discomfort in the morning. After a fresh dose of pain relief it soon settled back down.

thx for the reply justin, yeah I read about that too, that blood pressure is higher in the morning, in her case, she's measuring BP right away, and it's about 140-150, but then she wait for a minute or two (sitting) and it drops to 130 or lower... odd but I hope it's normal.
