Thank you so much! I am trying to go about life as normal as possible.... I just hate the waiting part:) As God is my pilot, I thank Him for using your words to help me not worry too much (haha).
Thank you again.
It really depends on what is causing your symptoms. The monitor will pick up any electrical changes to your heart which effect heart rate and rhythm. Typical causes can be common PVC's in which the ventricle fires too early causing a short pause followed by a hard beat, which would be picked up by the monitor. There could also be blockages in the nerve path that the electrical impulse travels down to fire each chamber of the heart, also fairly common and not dangerous. If your issue is caused by anxiety, the monitor will not pick that up.
The best thing you can do is relax and go about your life as normal so the cardiologist can get a realistic idea of what is going on. The most important thing to remember is that when you are done, you will have the answer and knowledge is power over your treatment, so relax and let your body do it's thing.
Good luck!
