I would NEVER trust an EKGAtrioventricular block, ekg tracing Ecg Exercise stress test ever again. Both my husband and I showed that we had a "previous heart attack", both EKGAtrioventricular block, ekg tracing Ecg Exercise stress test's done at different places, mine at the ER, my husband's at a Cardiologist's office. The following EKG's showed NO previous heart attack, but we still had to go through all kinds of tests to prove there was no heart attack even though the following EKG's were normal.
People had "normal" EKG's before and the same day or the next day had a heart attack.
I have more confidence in a thermometer to check your temperature than I do in an EKG registering your heart.
EKGs are not always accurate. It is more in the interpretation of the doctor. I had a normal one on a Tues and the next day had high degree heart block and had to get pacemaker. So in answer to your question, yes, it can be normal one day and abnormal the next. But I do agree with bev, I dont rely too much on an EKG.
