Generally, medication that treats symptoms (angina) is an effective therapy. But you have had extensive surgery to your heart, and you indicate total blockage of some vessels. Just to control your symptom (angina) with mediction may not be the appropriate treatment. Medication that treats your angina almost always indicates your heart is receiving sufficent blood flow (med dilates vessels). Too many variables involved; your surgeon would be able to make the correct decision.
