Existing Heart Disease and Dialysis

What are the side effects that a person who has existing heart disease and is now having to start dialysis because of kidney failure. The person is in 73 amd not in great health.

Often one or the other disease causes failure in the other and usually the underlying cause is high blood pressure.  Therapy for the kidney disorder should provide some relief to the heart's workload and some of the symptoms related to the heart disease may abate. Obviously, life expectency will increase as well.
