Was diagnosed about 1.5 months ago with pericarditis. About 3 weeks ago my primary care doc said that the EKG showed it was still there. Then, I saw a cardiologist who said that that I did not have it because he could not hear the heart rub up against the pericardium.
Saw the primary care doc again this past Mon (or Tues?), and he said that pericarditis can't always be heard. Should I get a third opinion?
