Aspirin is one of the safest drugs on the planet.  There is a very slight risk of developing stomach problems because aspirin is an acid.  The risk is almost zero, and the benefits are great.

You know that the doctors recommend that you take asprin once a day to prevent heart attacks. My husband had open heart surgery and takes asprin every morning. But he took one asprin every morning before that it thins the blood to pump thru the heart easier/ Thats what we have been told.
