seems to me that you have mvp. {mitral valve prolapse}. The heart is consisted of four valves , that enable the heart to function. Each one have its own purpose. The valves are: tricuspid, arotic, mitral, and pulmonary. Go to google and list each name and you will understand the full definition of each valve and its own purpose. Thanks. Also it would be good to see a cardiologist specialist, ask them to evaluate your condition and to get some blood work done. Hemoglobin, tsh, cbc, basic metobolic panel, and an echocardiogram. Also a 24- 48hr holter monitor would also be helpful in finding out under lying causes and complications of your irregular heart beat. This is not normal, if the symptoms you've been having, has been consistent throughout a 4 months interval. If that cardiologist is not helpful, you need to find a better doctor that will reassure you of whats going on, and what can be done to eliminate the conditions you are faces with. God bless you.
