Hye
Im garry 20 male.
I was googling my symptoms and your post appear. So i just wanted to talk to you.
I think im suffering from severe anxiety.
A month back my dad was not well. He was having hypoglycaemia attacks. So i didn't slept from last one month. He is alright now but im not.
Suddenly my bp went upto 170/100 and heart rate of 120. Im having stomach palpitation all the time. After that day i dont feel like before i was .
All the time i was feeling like somthing is wrong with me though my all reports were normal.
Heart echo,ecg,blood sugar etc.
It became hard to sleep at nights.
I lost 8 kg without any workout . I started having abdomen pain.lot of burps and acidity and hell of weakness. That made me even more depressed as I'm a professional drummer and i play for a metal band so it ****** my business too.
I started talking metoprolol 25mg twice a day and my bp is under control now.so im talking only night dose of 25 mg but i feel very depressed early morning. two days back in the evening i was feeling like i will go mad.i walked from one room to another and my HR was 102 and short of breath but bp was 120/80.my jaw was irritating me.eyes were heavy. I went out in a public place but i was out of my mind and making stupid faces and i though i will go retard my hand started trembling and fast heart beat ... I was thinking non stop weather ill go mad , is it somthing related to neuro instead anxiety or is this a side effect of metoprolol . It stayed for 3 hours and i wanted to sleep.my parents are not even getting it. Its been a month im in this situation and taking metoprolol tartrate 25mg from last 2 weeks and clozepam when require (took only 7 times till now)
What is it
Plss help.
Ill die or go retard. -_-

One should never state their experience as an ultimate truth, especially when dealing with health questions.

Example, while your blood pressure may indeed rise once you've eaten, mine definitely drops. I generally have low blood pressure to begin with, (very rarely above 90/50) and in combination with all of my other cardiac issues, when I am finished eating, and my system is digesting, the amount of blood demanded by my digestive system deprives the rest of my body of blood to maintain a 'high' pressure.

My experience is that doctors usually will prescribe medications for blood pressure numbers like yours.

One of the biggest non-medical factors I know of that affects blood pressure is food intake.  If you've recently eaten, your numbers will be higer.  If you are hungry and have been for a while, your numbers will be lower - sometimes considerably lower.  I don't know if this is universal, but when hungry, my BP is around 95/50 and after eating it's usually in the 115/65 range.  Similarly, my husband will run 120/70 when hungry and 140/90 after eating.  He is on blood pressure medication for the 140/90 readings, because he can't very well starve himself ;)

You named all the tests you had done so I assume you saw a doctor.  What did he say about your BP?  Did he give you meds for it.  If he did and the meds don't work let him know.  There are tons of BP meds on the market.  Sometimes a change in diet will help.  Do you eat a lot of sodium?

Sometimes when we worry about our BP that can rise it too.  Get yourself a home monitor and take your BP once a day, later once a week when you don't feel to stressed and nervous.  If you cannot afford a BP monitor go to the pharmacies like Walmart, Walgreens etc. and have your BP checked for free.  Their BP machines are usually locatede in one of their corners at the pharmacy.  You do not have somebody to assist you with, all you have to do is stick your arm in it and press the start button.
