short of breath after CABG

I had valve replacement ,ablation & coronary bypass Oct 27th.I am still having pvc's..bp is pretty good..my big concern is shortness of breath..even when I'm resting..Is this normal?? appreciate any info!

Well, it depends on how bad the shortness of breath is, I mean, there is obviously a huge range. If you are breathing faster but not exactly gasping for air then it 'could' still be part of your recovery. Its only really been around a month since your surgery, can you fully inflate your lungs with no discomfort to your chest now? I was still taking quite rapid shallow breaths after a month, but after about 3 months they were much deeper and slower.
If you are fully inflating your lungs so soon, which is a very quick recovery, then no, it certainly shouldn't be classed as normal. You should discuss this with your cardiologist.
