The calcium score indicates significant coronary artery disease and a buildup of plaque between the layers of the vessel.  This condition presents a risk of a heart attack with the risk of plaque breaking through the inner linning and causing a blood clot that can block blood flow to the heart cells with a heart attack.

I had a CT score a couple of years ago, and my score was over 1000 (total) and that idicated a probability I could have a heart event within year.  My calcium score has been high for the past 7 years and no problems whatsoever, however, I am on medication, proper diet, exerecise, etc. and have not had any bad days since a heart attack 7 years ago. So you aren't doomed, and you are doing everythin right.

Thanks for sharing, and if you have any further questions or comments you are welcome to resdpond.  Take care,

Ken
