What does the doctor mean Symptomatic?

Does anyone know I went for a two part stress test.  I did the first one this morning.  The doctor said that my heart on the ekg looked fine, but I was defiantly symptomatic?  I was not feeling good and she left before I could ask her what she meant.  I do have to go back on Monday in the afternoon for the second part.  But this has left me wondering the whole weekend what does that mean?  So if anyone might have an idea what she meant could you please let me know.  Thank you so much.

A doctor relies on signs and symptoms to make a diagnosis.  Clinical signs can be the result of tests, etc. and symptoms has to do with the individuals departure from normal functionality that generaslly indicates a disorder.

Your post indicates the doctor acknowledges a medical problem based on how you feel, but tests are negative.

Hope that helps you!  Take care!
