Hi im just wondering if your on any type of b.p medication or taking anything med wise?
as it could be a symptom from that.
as some b.p meds cause angina when walking or doing anything active. heat also plays a part when on meds. even sometimes when not on anything.
there are meny things that could have caused your problem, could be Reflux heartburn
that can sometimes mimic a heart attack with causing tightness of chest arm aches
so on . even tingling and numbness. also trapped gas can do the same !
you can cramps ,that lead to other cramps ,that can attack the arms and chest area.
Iv been in the Er twice for trapped gas problems..thinking im dieing of a heart attack
when all it was ,was excessive trapped gas pushing upwords - causing pains and
cramping everywhere.. and sweating too !! they gave me somekind of Gas X pills
and on my way I went ,after being tested fully.
and it could also be - your over worked or tired out and pushed to far.. or much
thus your problem.. as well again it could be a pinched nerve problem or you might
pulled something - and its reflecting pain down your arm or whatever it does.
Its good to get checked out fully - by a cardiologest to be sure your ok ..
then go from there..
Iv been thru the ringer with pains and problems with and without meds.
and have a history of heart problems in my family.. fathers side. only.
so the fear is always there.. as im cursed with high blood pressure problems today.
hope that helped you .. best I could come up with ..
Ed
Thanks for the comments. not sure why the doctor ordered chemical stress, but maybe because i exercise regularly and he thought i would not have any problems with the treadmill. as info, my symptoms are somewhat persistent. extreme fatigue has gone away, but still feel a little draggy and mild ache/slight tingling in my left shoulder/arm has continued. walked a mile this morning in florida heat and felt pretty much fine, but i really don't get it...
any other comments?
I can understand your concern. With a blockage, your symptoms would not go away, but like you, I would still feel like it is heart related. Have they offered to give you a heart monitor to monitor your heart 24/7? With all negative tests, one would assume that your heart is fine, but with your symptoms, and family history........ Stress/panic attacks can make you feel like you're having a heart attack, but I think your pulse and blood pressure would have been up with this, and they tend to come and go, where this is lingering. The weakness is of concern. I keep thinking of Tim Russert who died the same day he had a good stress test. The heart monitors are used because the heart can act up at one time, but maybe not during any of your tests. Why did they do a chemical stress test instead of the usual one? Gee, sorry, doesn't appear that I'm of any help here, but share your concern. Maybe someone more knowlegeable can give you some input. Take care......
