What level of enzymes

I had a NSTEMI 27/10/08. !7/11/08 I was admitted for chest pain and my troponin levels were 1.3 then 1.1 four hours later. They treated me for NSTEMI heprin drip. The ecg showed changes but after having another angiogram the Doctor told me I didn't have another heart attack, the stent looked good as well as the other arteries, and said  sometimes the heart can leak troponin. I have been getting reflux since my first attack and went into a bit of a panic when I felt more chest pain after only three weeks. On discharge they didn't go through the whole thing about no driving etc and just discharged me not offering any explanation. The card reads :CK 39   Tnl .051
Thanks for any help

This happened also to my mom.  The doctor said that she did not have a heart attack, but more like an episode.  The troponin leaked through.  The angiogram would show if there was any blockage.  Are you on a blood thinner now?  Blood thinners prevent heart attacks and strokes.

So you had an NSTEMI at the end of October and had chest pain about 3 weeks later. Was the stent put in back in October? I'm not sure what was causing your pain this time. You mention reflux (as in gastric?). That can cause similar pain. So can vasospasms. If there was no sign of another MI in November, that's probably why they just checked you and sent you on home. I hope you have a follow up with your cardio to get this straightened out. Find out what changes were seen on the hospital ECG other than residual damage from your MI. See if your meds need adjusting. Sorry, not much help here.
