worried about my heart

I have had reason to be concerned -- I had a doctor's intern breech the subject of my heart irregularity with the doctor, who dismissed the subject.  That was years ago.  For the past 4 or 5 years I have had a pain that comes and goes in my left arm....like an ache .. near the bone but not in it....
I can do a little bit of physical work or walking then need to rest...My heart speeds up and I can't breathe.
Six days ago my left hand went numb... almost all of it.  I have been trying to rest and take care of me but still have a couple of numb fingers.

What do I do?

I would - but I have no doctor - no insurance - no finances.  It's that little gray area between the rock and the hard place.

Give your doctor's office a call and schedule an appointment.  There are a number of possibilities about what's going on.  Be sure to touch base with the doctor's office - you should not ignore the new symptoms.  Take care and let us know how you're doing and what you find out.
