Is groin pain a year after a cardiac cath normal?

I had a Cardiac Cath done January 2016, I occasionally get a sharp pain in my groin that radiates into my right leg, but only lasts a few minutes.  I now have the pain constantly for the last three days, weight on my right leg is unbearable and can't seem to find a comfortable way to sit/lay down.  Is this normal?

It is not normal to have pain in the groin area a year after a cath. Normally the groin can be sore for a few days max.

Your pain could be related to the cath, but can very well be something else. I advice you to let your GP take a look at it.
