any suggestions?

I've had high BP since early 20s. Never ate salt, excercised to keep weight normal. In early 40s had to start taking medication. For the past 20 years I've taken about 15 different medications from doctor to doctor. Everybody knows the answer but my BP never is 120/80 except right after taking meds. 6 hours later it will be 170/102 an dhigher by the hour.  Then when I go back to the dr, he/she says, "Hmmm it's high, we should keep an eye on that." I've been keeping both eyes on it for 20 frigging years. Recently I was taking Hytrin, Atenolol, Clonodine, Lisinopril and HCTZ twice daily. Now I'm on 120m Diltiazem 3x, .1 Clonidine 2x and .2 Clonidine at bedtime. BP is still high. More Clonidine (i.5-2) during the day will drop it to120/80 or below, but it drops my heartbeat to 40-50 an dI'll fall asleep. My heartrate otherwise is 56-62. I'm at the point where I really don't care much anymore. If I check my BP it just makes my BP go higher because I feel it's futile. Got a suggestion?

Thank you for your question.
Your rhythm disorder (bradycardiia) can be the result of the clonidine medication. You may need a dose adjustment or special tests to safely use clonidine. I don't know if you have other cardiovascular disorders, but your doctor should take into consideration if there is heart disease or severe coronary artery disease; a heart rhythm disorder (which you appear to have); a history of heart attack or stroke; kidney disease.
Hope this helps!
