chest pain with subaortic stenosis

I am a 21 year old college student with subaortic stenosis who has recently started to experience chest pains. It's a suttle pain, more of a nusence really, but occasionally it will be painful. I have noticed it for a month or two, first a few time a day and now it has increased to only not hurting a few times a day. I went to the doctor on campus and he said that the ligiments that hold my heart in place are growing and said i'm experiencing 'growing pains' in my chest. I would like a second opinion because with my condition it's scaring me and I keep thinking something bad could happen...
Thank you and I hope to hear something good back

Subaortic stenosis is the narrowing of the left ventricle of the heart just below the aortic valve through which blood must pass on its way up into the aorta and into circulation... the narrowing reduces the flow of blood.

The condition of subaortic stenosis may be (present at birth or acquired as part of a particular form of heart disease known as "idiopathic hypertrophic subaortic stenosis".Treatment include drugs and surgery and the best source to evaluate your current physical condition would be the doctor who diagnosed the subaorttic stenosis.  If that is the underlying cause, you should have it treated to avoid any heart cell damage going forward.  Worst case scenario

Hope this provides a perspective, and thanks for sharing.  Take care.
