clueless

Hello,

Ive been having upper left back pain for the past 3 months. The pain is more of a pressure kind of pain that is sometimes in the chest but always radiates to the back. Ive been to multiple ER's and doctors and no one has a clue of whats going on. I got prescribed anti- bio-tics, Pain killers, and got advised to rest but nothing had changed. The pain seems to increase every time i sit down or sleep. I am now in a point where i cant sleep because of the pain, i have also noticed that smoking and eating increases the pain, but i don't know if that's the cause of it because the pain started at a period where i wasn't smoking.

Recently, i've changed my doctor and he ordered me a bunch of blood tests and referred me to a cardiologist, hematologist and a Gastroenterologist who either told me they have no clue of whats going on or told me that the pain is going to go away over time( its been 4 months of constant pain) so that's not an answer. My doctor order blood test. The combination of abnormalities found in my lab results are as followed:
- High ALT
-High RBC
- High monocytes( absolute)
- High Immature Grans( ABS)
- High Albumin
- High HGB
- Hematocrit 49.7 (normal range 40-50)

I have also done X-rays and a CT scan that resulted in showing nothing. This pain is still killing me till this second.
I also have high blood pressure.

Any help would be extremely helpful

Pancreatic pain has the distribution you describe.  It is also related to eating and--most interestingly--to smoking.  Here is more info:

My doctor says its not pancreatic because of the blood tests and the ultrasound that he did, im really not sure and worried
Ask him to explain and convince you (though I would note that medical school is no joke, and even if the doc was in the bottom of his class, he probably knows more than the person on the street).
